Can someone please explain to me why Prime Time TV anchors, i.e. The
Today Show, get paid $7mil a year to read off a teleprompter? I’m sorry
but I’m sure the folks that make them look good on TV don’t make 1/10th
of that. I don’t understand how Matt Lauer was worth $24mil either.
Now we all know that money comes from sponsorships/advertising. Advertising dollars are part of what is included in calculating the cost of the goods you purchase, so in essence, what we buy is what is paying those outrageous salaries.
